Living with the Tides expands an investigation into the processes of transformation present in both nature and human experience. Taking the ocean as both image and symbolic force, the series explores the cycles of permanence and change that shape landscapes as well as the ways in which we inhabit the world.

The works emerge from the observation of tides as both a physical phenomenon and an existential metaphor: advances and retreats, presences and absences, construction and erosion. Through layers of paint, fields of density, and zones of silence, a space for reflection unfolds—one that considers the fragility of ecosystems and the increasingly strained relationship between humanity and the natural environment.
